In 2004 The Good Cook Shop approached IBT Services to discuss expanding their successful shop based business. They wanted to extend their online presence which was currently a small site with only basic contact details for their premises.
The shop is a successful and continually growing venture and The Good Cook Shop needed the flexibility of a system that would grow with their future plans. These included Point of Sale systems and planned additional branches of the business. They also stock an expansive range of products which they wanted to publish on the site simply and quickly.
Using the e-Commerce and Content Management Modules IBT Services developed a site for them that met these needs, and integrated the site with their preferred online merchant, Barclaycard Merchant Services. Security for their customers was a large requirement for the project and the trusted authority Thawte was used to meet this issue.
Following many phases www.goodcookshop.com sells a range of nearly one thousand products to the United Kingdom.
