Unity-aero

Unity is software developed by IBT Services that provides two major services to the solution we provide to our customers. First Unity acts as a container for the additional modules that IBT Services produce. Once integrated within Unity the services provided by the modules can be accessed from menus within Unity. Lastly it contains the features that are commonly used across web sites we produce.

Key features included in Unity

• A powerful security model which allows administrators to control not only who can access their web site and the areas within it but also access to Unity and its features.
• Facilities to search content produced by the suite of modules, including e-Commerce products and content managed pages.
• The ability to supply reports on a schedule or on demand. These PDF reports can contain a whole range of information and charts for example, the number of people that signed up to a newsletter or the email addresses of the customers in a month.
• All IBT Services solutions get subscribed to Google's analytics service which allows clients to see trends on the level of site access and the most popular sections of their own site.
• For more information than general site access trends it is possible to view each visitors specific activity on the site.
• Taking payments is simplified with support for card processing with financial organisations including HSBC, Barclaycard and PayPal.
• To allow Google, Yahoo, MSN and other search engines to find and prioritise our customers sites a site map can be automatically generated and updated by Unity.
• Asset management provides the facility to upload documents, images and videos which can be used throughout the site and with all of Unity's modules.
• Each of our customers web sites communicate directly with IBT Services own site which provides instant notification to us of any issues that occur.
• Using sophisticated techniques email addresses on the site can be transformed into a representation that prevent malicious organisations from collecting addresses for spamming purposes.
