Forum module

When added to Unity the Forum module provides standard functionality expected from this type of feature. Forums are a very good way of generating site traffic as they are constantly updated by visitors.

An unlimited number of forums can be added to the site and collections of forums can be associated with sections of the site.

Key features include:

• Forums can have unlimited threads that can be displayed by various criteria such as popularity or the creation order.
• Threads contain messages that can be entered by a visitor using plain text, as well as uploading attachments such as images and documents. Messages can be enhanced with emoticons; a way of adding smiley faces and emotions to a message.
• Forum administrators can be set up to delete inappropriate message and ban users that break site guidelines.
• Users can specify to be notified of thread updates and sent e-mails when new messages are posted against their threads.
